Pipe Fitter
Skilled Pipe Fitter required for industrial and mechanical piping projects. We are hiring an experienced Pipe Fitter to support fabrication and installation of piping systems in industrial and construction projects.
Job Description
- Read and interpret piping isometric drawings, P&IDs, and GA drawings
- Measure, cut, bevel, fit, and align piping systems accurately
- Perform fit-up of carbon steel, alloy steel, and stainless steel pipes
- Ensure correct pipe routing, slope, orientation, and elevation
- Install flanges, valves, gaskets, fittings, and pipe supports
- Carry out tack welding preparation and assist welders during welding
- Verify dimensions, alignment, and tolerances prior to welding
- Ensure correct material identification and traceability
- Identify fit-up or material issues and report to supervisors
- Follow approved method statements and work procedures
- Maintain tools, equipment, and work area in safe condition
- Comply with project quality requirements and HSE regulations
- Support hydro testing, flushing, and commissioning activities when required
- Work efficiently to meet project schedules and productivity targets
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Pipe Fitter in industrial or construction projects
- Ability to read and understand piping isometrics and drawings
- Knowledge of pipe fitting techniques, flanges, valves, and fittings
- Familiarity with fit-up tolerances and welding preparation standards
- Experience using hand tools and power tools related to pipe fitting
- Physically fit and able to work in site and outdoor conditions
- Good understanding of safety practices and work permits
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong commitment to quality and productivity
