Abrasive Blaster

Job Responsibilities

1. Perform abrasive blasting on steel surfaces to achieve required cleanliness and surface profile
2. Operate blasting equipment safely and efficiently
3. Select and use appropriate abrasive materials as per job requirements
4. Ensure surface preparation meets standards such as SSPC, ISO, and NACE
5. Inspect blasted surfaces for cleanliness, profile, and defects
6. Coordinate with QC inspectors and supervisors for approval
7. Maintain blasting equipment, hoses, and nozzles in good condition
8. Follow approved method statements and work procedures
9. Ensure proper handling and disposal of abrasive materials
10. Maintain housekeeping and comply with HSE requirements

Terms & Conditions

1. The rate is based on 8 hours/day, 6 days/week, and 26 days/month (total working hours calculated for 1 year). Any overtime or Friday work will be calculated as per Saudi Labour Law.
2. Work stoppage due to idle hours such as rain, strong wind, or sandstorm will be considered as working hours and charged accordingly.
3. Demobilization must be informed at least 3 days in advance. Late notification will be subject to company policy.
4. Quotation validity is 2 days from the date of offer.
5. Mobilization will be completed within 3 days after confirmation of the official Purchase Order.
6. Food, accommodation, and transportation are within the company’s scope.
7. Timesheets must be submitted at the end of every month.
8. Payment will be made within 3 days after submission of the invoice.
9. Gate pass and related expenses are not included in the company’s scope.
10. According to Saudi Labour Law, during Ramadan, reduced working hours will still be considered a full working day.
